Really good audition songs?

So, I'm auditioning for "The Voice" and maybe "American Idol". I have a very wide range and can sing nearly any style. I just am at a loss for a good song to sing. Something difficult, but something sing-able. They prefer something thats not suuuper popular, but is still known. Any help would be super helpful, but if you're just here for negativity; you can get the hell off of my question. Thanks :)

Fixing an external hard drive?

I have an external hard drive with precious things on it. The only problem is that people don't watch their feet when it's plugged in. So the plug that connects a usb to what ever port I use such as an Xbox is not bent. It's on the EHD it's the connection the cord has to plug into.All cords are fine it's just the connection on/in the EHD. Is there a way to get that part fixed? I would appreciate places, names, address, and phone numbers! (For those who want to give me crap, Yes I know I have to watch the system closely and blah blah blah, Shut up)

I am tired of his B.S. Players are not equal partners, it is that plain and simple. Equal partners share expenses. 50/50 means both ways. Give me a million dollars for 3-4 of work and you will never hear on gripe from me. No to address the injury issue. None of these players are forced to play. How about this idea, get an education in college so you don't have to rely on football if you are worried about injury. How many roofers fall to their death doing a job that pays a lot less? What about our soldiers fighting to keep us free? Don't hear them whining about there CHOSEN profession. You players want owner money?? Get all your money together, buy a team and run it the way your asking the owners to give to you now. You will be bankrupt in a very short time. Maybe you should have taken some finance classes to understand how the world works. You are NOT and never will be equal partners until you are will to front halt the teams market value to the current owner/owners. After that don't forget the payroll to all the coaches, all the cleaning staff, the locker room help, ushers, vendors, and all the unseen help you all take for granted. How much money do you think is really left? Oh and don't forget you still have to pay yourself and 51+ other guys depending on your IR, practice squad and complete busts of a draft pick( ask the raiders). Easy to sit and criticize ownership when you are ignorant to the true facts. D. Smith is only out for himself. He has a much bigger agenda than the NFL. Use your heads people. Go get your part of the millions you are being offered to play a game.

How to end a bad friendship?

She's the type of person who will absolutely BLOW UP on you when things don't go right. She's completely two faced and feeds off of high school drama (which may be somewhat "normal" except we are in COLLEGE- she's still stuck in high school while everyone else has long moved on). I'm trying my hardest to distance myself from her and I haven't responded to any of her texts or calls since I've been home for summer term. It would be easier to cut her off except for the fact that my other friends still keep in contact with her and I'm afraid a whole scene will break out if I confront her directly. Ok I am visiting my aunt and she is driving me insane...... Like I have problems making friends at school, and some kids make fun of me, but I have just accepted that at least I have one friend and that I'm different...... Actually, she is not your mom in law, as you are not married. Second, If your boyfriend doesn't side with you then you have a bigger problem than you realize. i just switched TVs for PS3. The old one had those red, yellow and white plug in cords. The new TV is a plasma. The new TV doesn't have the red yellow and white plug in cables so i have to use a PS3. But when i use the HDMI, nothing appears on screen and it says no signal. how to i get it to work?

Why do so many people Dislike Fedora Linux?

i use Linux and Windows and Mac OS X. but motley Linux. my Distro of choice is Pardus. openSUSE is a strong second. i Watch the Linux action show on jupiterbroadcasting. every time Fedora comes up they bash it left and right and they aren't the only ones. out of curiosity. i downloaded and installed Fedara 15. Gnome and KDE. i Distro Hop a lot so i didn't Mind the effort. and comparing Fedora to the other Distros i have used. i really don't see why there is so Much negativity towards it. it's not My Distro of choice but i still don't see anything wrong with it. i was hoping Perhaps a Fellow Linux head could shed some light on Why Fedora is hated so Much. because i honestly don't see anything wrong with it other then being a little Different. and Being Different was a good thing The last time i checked. :-)

Are you in the UK ? If so you need to be a graduate, only FE colleges will accept people as lecturers (not teachers) without QTS status. They quite often like people to have industry experience and then train for their QTS on the job. For primary though you will have to do the conventional 4 year route - either a 4 year B Ed or a 3 year degree in a relevant subject and a 1 year PGCE. Any other routes are very rare and the present government is slashing funding for education so school are not offering training placements in the way they did under Labour (schools had to partly fund this themselves and the funds just aren't there anymore).

okay, so i've been having protected sex with my bf quite a lot recently ...and though we've used condoms he usually starts off without using one for a good 10-15mins..and obviously i've heard pre-*** can get you pregnant. ...we have also had unprotected sex for the duration (only sometimes)...though he didnt *** in me. My last period was 3/4 days late and finally came on 3rd May, however it only lasted 3days with the last day being so light i didn't really leak much on the pad (sorry if tmi)....usually i'm really heavy and last about 5days but this was a lot lighter. The time leading up to that 'period' i became severly fatigued to the point where i didn't have the energy to walk fast...all of my muscles/joints ached and i started to get severe back ache and griping/pulling pains in my stomach...this carried on throughout my period and to this day i still have those symptoms along with extreme nausea that lasts throughout the day...i have also had a lot of heartburn and the need to urinate more frequently. ...and i know this sounds strange but i just feel pregnant. ....i'm most likely not to be but what are your opinions??

I had a friend who seems a bit... off everything she talks about has to do with negativity and death. what really scares me is that she wants to be an abortionist and she's turning 19 in July. she's held true to this statement for about 4 Years now. Hate myself for being jealous of my cousin's wedding?

STILL my drug addict brother is the darling of our family. If you love him are still together and happy then to hell with what your family thinks you have every right in the world to be upset with your parents handling of your marriage but as long as you have each other it's the two of you vs the world. As long as your cousin didnt show the same ignorance and awful awful racism towards you I would say to support her in this time as much as it hurts but personally I would NOT go to the wedding. If she showed you and your husband respect and love during the course of your relationship get her a really nice gift tell her how happy you are that she found someone to make her as happy as you are in your marriage and you and your husband take that money you would spend on going to HER wedding and the two of you treat yourselves to a second honeymoon somewhere spend the entire time with some great wine and good food just the two of you and spend it in bed the entire time making each other feel how great you guys feel just being together and to hell with everyone who wasn't there for you :-)

My phone will barely charge?

So I have a kyocera phone (i'm trying to save up for a better phone but with gas prices its been impossible) and my phone will only charge if the cord on the charger is in a certain way and if I move the cord at all even slightly it takes forever to find the position again. I know its not the outlet i'm using because this happens at every outlet I try.

My Ipod Touch Got Wet What Do I Do ?

Well, while I was holding a cup with one hand less than half way filled with iced tea, the other hand was holding my ipod which I was using then while I was typing it slipped out of my hand and into my cup . It fell upside down , so the side that had the power button was in the iced tea . I quickly took it out and starting wiping it and shaking it . It was still on , so I clicked the home button and then I clicked the power button ( I was trying to see if all the buttons were working ) then I was planing on shutting it off and turing it back on but it turned off by itself . I frantically tried turning it back on but it didn't . Then I thought maybe it'll turn on if I connect it to my charger , maybe it just died because it wasn't charged . So I connect my ipod in my computer , itunes pops up & a little box pops up saying that I need to put in the pass code but how can I put my pass code if my screen doesn't want to turn on. Then I start clicking buttons again , I start noticing that my screen is on its just that its really really dark , I could see the dim apple logo , then I click something again then a very dim usb cord and the itunes logo comes up in my screen I could barely see it though I have to put it in the light to see . I start pressing on the power button for at least 10 second then it showed the little red sliding thingy that say slide to power off , it shows my the small little battery on the top and the cancel button on the bottom . The lock screen never showed up my ipod is still dark and I really don't know what to do anymore, My Ipod 3G 32GB is 6months old all scratched up from how many times I've dropped it and the volume buttons don't work I don't think it has a warrenty or what ever that is so I can't bring it to the apple store . Plus I'm only 14 and my parents don't know or then they'll kill me . Is there anyway it can be fixed ? Please I don't know what to do anymore .

The outlets and light switch in my room dont work?

HELP!!! Newborn gas, fussiness and lack of sleep?

My daughter is almost a moth old and has been struggling with gas pain. She also has several bowel movements a day which hurt her. I changed her formula to Enfamil Gentlease about five days ago, and she still is suffering. I've tried mylicon and gripe water, neither seems to help. I don't know if you were drugged or what with. Definitely not proud of it but I have done the same type of thing from drinking too much alcohol. Dehydration can cause you to do things you normally wouldn't if it is severe enough. I've also had a similar experience after being in the hot sun after taking a new medication. Also this could have been a chemical imbalance in your body due to something you ate hours or even a day before the concert, stress, depression, or any combination of things including chemicals produced by your body due to your menstrual cycle. Lets hope it doesn't happen again but if it does you need to try to figure out what may have been different than normal that day. P.S. I know you don't want to hear this but maybe your boyfriend slipped you something. Don't think it is not possible because I never thought it would be possible for me to get a divorce from the love of my life but after 20 years she must have been tired of me cause she divorced me after having another guys kid. I love the chi air...it is pretty cheap which is great! the flat iron i use the sedo pro ionic ceraminc tourmaline flat iron which is my my fave but its is expensive around $150 but i recent bought the chi air and its amazing and i love it but make sure u still use hair protectant spray.......and i agree that the cord is super long and annoying!!

Problems with my negative grandma?

I am helping my grandma this summer and am having trouble dealing with her constant negativity. My parents are getting divorced and now all my grandma does is criticize my mom. Don't let her behavior bother you, she is just trying to irritate you. If I were you I would continue answering her ringing phone, don't mention it to your boss, and do it well. The last time I answered another persons ringing telephone, a task that wasn't necessarily my job but I did it glady, I got nominated for an award. It was actually one of the best things that ever happened to me. My point is just ignore her behavior, and maybe not immediately, but if she doesn't straighten up her act she will cause her own demise (not that you want that to happen but she will straighten up).

What is this...extremely achey and tired...read on...?

Recently i have been having a really dull ache in the lower part of my back, it starts from the kidney area downwards. I have also been having pulling, griping pains in my stomach....sometimes its not pain...it feels tingly. I have become increasingly fatigued and have no energy to even walk...making me walk extremely slow, i also have a dull ache in my shoulders spreading round to underneath my armpits..and i'm feeling the need to urinate a lot more than i used to :/

Mix Enfamil Formulas?

My son is 2 1/2 months old and were still trying to figure out which formula is the best (he also has colic) he was on Enfamil Premium Newborn, but then the doctor had us switch to Gentlease because he said it would be easier on his stomach, it was for a little bit but his colic was way out of hand so we tried the Enfamil for Colic and he didnt like it at all, so now our doctor gave us these drops to help him with his stomach and we tried gripe water, they helped for a few weeks but now its like they dont do anything for him anymore, so now the doctor says we should try Enfamil Prosobee (for sensitive tummy) I was just wondering how many days do I mix the formulas so it will be easier on his stomach than just giving him the straight soy?!? Curling Wands- Remmington or Conair?

Next week I'm going to pick up a curling wand from target, they sell both brands and i was wondering what one is better. I had the Remington Wet2Straight straightener and it only lasted about a year, and before that I had a conair hair straighter that you could change the plates on and it was a piece of crap. Trying to lose weight to be a model....?

About six weeks ago I just lost my interest towards females I've been straight all my life and still am I mean my attraction came back and I started to feel like me again... But then as time went by I began to feel depressed again as I was unaware to why/how this had happened. When I'm alone with a female I do still feel attracted and when I'm at a night club I'm ok. I just can't understand what the trigger of this is and why it's happened to me. I just hate my life atm and i just feel suicidal as I hate feeling like this. Please help much appreciated x

Do you find most people who comment on the internet to be miserable and sad?

I find most of the people who comment, to be funny as h***. But, I went to Sydney in March, and had a great time. It was expensive compared to home (CA), but was clean, felt safe, did some tours, the food was good. Then again, where ever I go, I have a great time. It's not always where you go, but who you go with, or what you make of it. Hooked up car cd player and it doesnt work.?

So I bought a new cd player and when I took out my old the wire plugin didn't match my new one. So I looked at each set of wires and I cut off the old plugin. I grounded the black wire with the metal piece to a screw inside my dash. Then I split the same wires of each set and twisted them together and then used electrical tape to cover them. There were some extra cords but I had no where to hook them up so I wrapped them up so they wouldn't just be open inside of the dash. I then plugged in the power (or antenna) not sure which one it was but it fit my new cd player as well. I then put my dash back together and screw in and plug back in everything I had messed with in order to get to my cd player. I turn my car on to see if my cd player works and I here it make a noise (the cd player itself) but it didn't come on. No lights, no sound, nothing. What did I do wrong? How do I make it work??

I put in my 2 weeks notice this past monday. I got a new job with better pay and benefits. At the age of 29, this will be my first real job with benefits. Anyways, its been a couple days since then and the head boss doesn't even care that I'm here. Doesn't acknowledge me, say hello, nothing. What would make me stay here any longer? Besides being the only designer, but that's their fault for not getting another one to fall back on if something was to happen to me. They have no safety, but I don't want to be here if i'm not getting treated like i should be. Recovering files off HD w/ Vista?

Ok, so here's my issue- I have an HP laptop that refuses to function, it hasn't turned on in 6 months. I have replaced the power cord, the battery, etc. I had been told by tech support at my school that the motherboard on HP laptops are completely unreliable and it likely fried and that I'm better off just buying a new laptop, which I did back in January. I bought a Gateway laptop w/ Windows 7 installed on it. However, I need the information off of my hard drive from my old HP laptop. I have already removed the hard drive itself, so now what? Can I just pop it into my new Gateway and expect to recover my files? The hard drive on the Gateway is virtually impossible to remove tho, it has the smallest screws to it and I fear I will mess it up trying to put it back in or I will lose the screws. Is it even possible to put a hard drive that had Windows Vista on it into a laptop w/ 7 running on it? I also don't want to take it to tech support or Best Buy to recover my information mainly because I have stuff on there that I don't want others to be able to access. I would prefer getting these files back on my own, if that's possible. Any suggestions?

Xbox color messed up during movies?

Whenever i play a movie on my xbox 360 (from netflix or a disc) the color is always messed up. It will get really dark for a while, go back to normal, then quickly go back to being dark. My 5 almost 6 week old baby is barely eating her bottle she is formula fed we haven't had a problem until today she normally eats 3 Ozs every 3-4 hours and today she wasn't eating much maybe 2 Ozs if that she spit up almost her whole bottle at one point and she just falls asleep I have had I wake her up a couple times today o and when she does eat it's like she is holding formula in her mouth and just letting it spill out of her mouth so she isn't swallowing much I want to call the doctor but I'm going to give it a little while longer atleast see what happens tonight maybe her belly is upset? I gave her some gripe water for gas starting yesterday and a little earlier today idk if that has anything to do with it? I'm sorry im all over the place it's late.... I'm just looking to hear pols thoughts or has thi happened to anyone before im a new mom and very nervous about everything my boyfriend always tells me to calm down and see what happens but it's not that easy!

Parents won't take me to doctor?

Okay, I have an ear infection & all I want to do is go to the doctor & get some antibiotics or something to get rid of it. I have pretty high pain tolerance so I can deal with the pain, for now, but I want to get some medicine to get rid of it before it gets really bad. My little sister is a hypochondriac, (really she is, one time my uncle had to get tested for prostate cancer & then my sister ran around crying that she had it) they take her to the doctor without saying anything usually. Though for me it's another story, I hardly ever complain of pain & I hate to take medicine unless necessary so if I ask to go to the doctor it's because I really need to go but whenever I ask they always gripe & complain about it & try to put it off until I either scream at them or am on my knees begging to go. Why do they do this to me? I would never do that to my child.

My HP G60 laptop screen has gone black...sound still comes on, but no picture. Is there a way to fix it?

Yesterday my daughter was on YouTube watching some videos and the computer screen went black and shut down. I assumed it had overheated or something so we just kept it off for the rest of the day. When we went back to turn it on it booted up just fine, but the screen was totally black. No picture at all. I ended up taking the battery out and unplugging the power cord then plugging it back in and turning it on and it was fine. When I was done using it I powered it off rather then letting it hibernate and came to turn it on this morning and the black screen was back (sigh)....did the same steps as before and it came back on, and now I am here! I have been searching like crazy but I am not very techy and don't understand a lot of what I am reading!....Any help would be appreciated!!

Okay..I'm a female and I compete in bodybuilding. I don't do steroids or anything like that. So I'm not manly looking. Well my friend kinda of wanted to go to prom with her crush but her crush asked a different girl and she won't shut up about it, and she is always trying to be the center of attention and she always talks about herself ie: boy issues, family issues, friend issues and exciting news. What can I do about my landlord not cleaning the home before I moved in?

I just moved into this house 2 days ago. I had signed the lease on the 16th of April so the property management company had ample time to get this house cleaned. I paid 3100 cash up front the day that we looked at the property. 1100 for the Junes rent 550 for the remainder of May and then another 1100 for a security deposit! We got here with our trucks full of stuff only to see that the homeowner still had stuff here! The refridgerator was disgusting, I could tell the carpets had not been cleaned, the toilets still had pee drops and pubic hairs all over them. Bugs in the tub, food and what not still in the cabinets, dog pee right by the front door on the tile, i mean it was horrible. I understand that the home owner is military and doesnt have much time but he hired a PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OFFICE. Also, the first night we were here there was NO hot water..i called the property manager and asked him to send someone out, he told me I should stay at a hotel! I did call corporate and he has since called and griped out my hubby about that. But he admits no wrong doing in having us spend our first 10+ hours here cleaning! Shouldn't that company be responsible for that? What can I do? I do not know Colorado laws! Please help! Thank you

Okay i just had the weirdest dream and it freaked me out but I don't understand...?

Okay so I was running and I was running down a road and It was windy and the sky was covers In clouds and had a Greyish orange color. I kept running till I came to a field were I griped and fell but I got back up and kept running. I then came to a wooden playground I played on as a kid. I stoped and looked around. I knew I was looking for somthing but I didn't know what. The winds began to pick up and I started running again and I ran and ran till I came to my friends house I ran in the door and ran up the steps and to her brothers room and 1 tear fell down my cheek. I ran back down the steps and outside were her brother stood at the bottom step he looked at me and I had stoped. I then walked quickly down the steps and he held his arms out and grabed me and I hugged him and we fell on the grass. We laid there and I stared into his eyes and a tear fell down his cheek and he had this like long distance look he always has in real life when I see him. Bu I had the same look in my eye I could tell. But what was really weird was threw the whole dream I could faintly hear the song "blessed with a curse." by bring me the horizon. you might want to check to be sure your manager is following policy, anybody can be sick for 1 day and not need a doctor, or have broken down transport, or a home/family emergency. Most employers at least where I am require a Dr's note if you are out 3 days, but not just for 1 you might want to check policy or get a better job. However if you take off a great deal and this is just one more time, well that's the way it goes, you will need to miss more days til the dentist can see you.

So I bought a Kenwood deck from my friend. I had noticed that my stock deck was bolted on. And that I had no idea how to bolt my new deck down so it doesnt come out. I have been riding since before I could walk but I've never really had any formal English training (just a few lessons from friends) so I enrolled in some classes because I want to know more and be the best horsewoman possible. Bringing "Oversize" Items On A Plane?

I am going to a foreign country where I will be living for quite a while. However, among the items I am bringing an electronic drum set is one of them. It is lightweight and portable, so I can stick all of the items into one travel bag except for a tube that is part of the frame, it is too long (around 4 feet long) to fit in a bag. My idea was to take the tube and bungee cord it to the outside of a travel bag. Can I do this or will this go against regulations? If I can't, is there any other methods I could use?

My daughter is 12 months old and is very gassy. How do I get rid of it?

My daughter is 12 months old and has sooo much gas. We are on Nexium for acid reflux, Mylicon drops don't seem to help, and she is on Good Start 2 Soy formula for older babies. We have tried gripe water and colic calm over the counter aides and still gassy. We can feed her for 3 oz. and help her burp and we will continue to get lots of burps up till the next feeding. She won't nap if she has a burp because she will wake up every 15 minutes to burp. The doctors just tell us she is a gassy baby....really? Thats all you can tell me? 5 weeks old baby constipated?

I have 5 weeks old doughter which cries all day , for few days we are using gripe water and seems to be better .. untill today , she is constipated and didn't poop for 2,5 days. She gets red , moves her legs and cryes 2-3 hours after milk( formula feeding) She is cinstipated , I tried with stomach masage , fennel tea , hot water but nothing helps. Help!! I need advice about how to deal with a conflict with my parents?

Help! So, today at school around noon I texted my mom asking her if I could come home because my leg was really sore (I'm currently pre-op for an acl/mcl/meniscus tear injury). All we were doing after lunch was the annual "undercalssmen awards ceremony" where the teachers motivate lesser students by giving them awards and stuff in front of the whole class. There was really no reason for me to be there, especially since they weren't marking absences in the afternoon. She said no, so after some mild griping I hung up and went to the assembly, which was scheduled to last from about 1-3. Mid-way through, my leg was really throbbing, so I left and went to the sick room so I could ice and elevate. I texted her again asking for her to come get me, to which she responded with the always handy "ask your father." I did, and he FLIPPED OUT. He accused me of faking so that I could skip the ceremony and told me to "get the f****** ice and go back to the auditorium." I stayed in the sick room until 3, when school was let out. When I got home, my mom was saying things like "just wait until your dad gets home" and threatened to cancel my weekend plans of playing with a professional orchestra at a memorial day event. I have to find some way to convince them to let me go!! Any advice?? Please help!

I never get any sleep, my 3 week old grunts all night?

What is wrong with her? I think she is gassy. This has been going on for a week and since I co-sleep with her I do not sleep all night long. My husband works nights and he lets me sleep for 2 hours when he gets home but that is all I am getting. She is formula fed now :( The breastfeeding did not work. Please don't give me hell about it we tried with many lactation consultants. She just couldn't latch. I pumped for 2 weeks but I just wasn't getting enough to feed her. We changed her formula, got her new bottles for colic, tried gripe water, give her water between feedings, I burp her very often with each bottle, and sit her up when she is eating. Is there anything else I can do? Is she grunting because of gas? Will it just take her a while to get used to the formula?

My premature baby is finding it difficult to poo?

My little baby is finding it difficult to poo, but I'm not sure of the best method to help him go. His gp and neonatal nurse said to give him orange juice. The gp said give him it once a day, if this doesn't work twice if not three times a day, as you cant overdose on orange juice...however I'm worried about it giving him tummy ache. I have tried rubbing his belly and moving his legs in a bicycle motion as well as giving him a bath, it used to work...but doesn't seem to anymore. His health visitor said give him an ounce of boiled water, this didn't work either, she also said orange can gripe his bowels. She also said don't give him brown sugar because this may make his blood sugar levels go up as he is prem, (he was born at 29+4 gestation). I'm confused as to what is the best thing to do. His poo isn't hard pellets, it just seems to get lodged and when he does go the consistency is sticky. Advice would be much appreciated :) xx

Pink-screen PS3 non-hdtv prob!! Help!?

So I bought a PS3 and haven't upgraded my TV situation to an HDTV...so I bought a R/G/B PS3 cord and am currently using it. I held down the power button for 10 secs and reset it already. The graphics are still really good and the sounds impeccable, BUT everything is a tinge of pink. Everything. The PS3 home screen, DVD playback, games, internet...everything. I've tried to unplug the cord and replug it back in, and other R/G/B ports on my tv. It just doesnt seem to come in normal. Whites, greys, pretty much anything neutral or red is pink-ish.

My 4 month baby have a lot of gas, he vomits and farts a lot?

Hi. I have a 4 month old baby that is having trouble with gases. I took him to the doctor twice but he keep sending me to give him gripe and Ovol for his gases. i get the point that he is full of gases even though the doctor thinks i dont take his gases out after each feeding but i do and not just one gas comes out. After he burps he vomits and now is all the time and his farts smell REALLY bad and i dont know what to do anymore since i am always changing his clothes and my clothes and i am scare to let someone hold him because he will vomit on them. i dont see this normal and maybe someone out there could help me with some experience. i told the dr if it could be that he is tolerante to lactose but he said that i am breastfeeding and it doesnt cause babies to be tolerant to lactose. i am so confused and worry about my son because i feel that he is in pain. also i fart too and the smell is same as the baby. so maybe is somenthing i have or somenthingi am eating?. i stop drinking milk for a while thinking that it will help but no and the only think that its left to change is the bread i eat. help!

My girlfriend and I have been dating for 6 months now. We were both surprised we'd even be in a relationship since we became good friends beforehand. Can I break my lease if my landlord give my personal information to strangers?

I am on Section 8 or HUD. I have not lived in the house I'm renting fo a whole month yet. I have not spoken to my neighbors besides and occasional hi here and there. Now I am having problems with my neighbors, who's names I don't even know, and it's because my landlord has been so kind as to give my personal information to these strangers. I don't want everyone in the neighborhood to know that I am on Section 8 and basically know my business. I am a very private person. When I first got started with Section 8, I knew their was a privacy thing that if I don't want someone to know they don't need to know. I told my landlord of course and that is it. So if anyone in the neighborhood know it's because my landlords have opened their mouths and told them. It's to the point that the landlord denied it and after insisting they gave my information to these stranger they finally admitted to have said something to someone. Right, I knew it all along. Now my issue is not only people knowing I'm on Section 8 but these people have fuel to start their fires. I have two small kids and due with my third next month. I am in no position to get into confrontations with anybody. So because my landlord have volunteered my personal info to these people who already weren't happy to have me in the neighborhood I am now having to deal with problems at my home. I had a woman screaming and cursing at me from across the street because my landlord has giving her the information she needed to get mad with me. I don't know this lady and to have her cursing at me and screaming while my kids are inside my home is completely uncalled for. I would have never had any problems with any neighbor if it wasn't for my landlord. He has made it so that I am uncomfortable in my own home. I already felt like an outsider because the area is all whites and I am of color but now I feel like all eyes are on me every time I leave my front door. I feel like everyone doesn't want me here and I would have never known for a fact that this is the case until now. By him talking to her about me it's like he is condoning the fact that I am different and do not belong in this all white neighborhood. That woman would have never felt comfortable enough to scream and curse at me if he didn't talk to her about me. I check the web and found that in the Tenant Privacy Rights a landlord can not give out personal information about a tenant to strangers unless a bank, creditor or other landlord. She most certainly isn't those. She's just a noisy neighbor who has nothing better to do than stay in her old fashion lifestyle. So after giving you all this information about how my landlord single handily ruined any chance of me making a life here with my kids, I need to know what actions can I take. I need serious answers only. I need to try to get out of this lease and away from all of this negativity. I haven't even been here a whole month I don't know how I can do a whole year with all of this hate. And it's not like I have the person that invited me to the neighborhood(my landlord) on my side. He's creating all the problem and sitting back like I don't know what you're talking about. I am scared of any hate crimes that might occur. I am pregnant I cannot defend myself. How do I get out. What you stated is exactly what is causing problems...workers hating their managers, there is too much work, more hours added to existing routes, being fired for no good reason, undue stress, inadequate background checks...I know for a fact, in my local post office every day the lines are out the door, there are less people working the windows resulting in much longer waits, If anything you would think there would be customer rage instead.

my 21/2 week old jus developed wat we think is colic he crys nd crys espically after feedings nd seems to be in pain for several hours out of the day I spoke with the doc nd she sugested it may be colic so we ben using dr browns natural flow bottles gripe watter nd milacon drops to help manage it but I've noticed that him bein on his stomach on my chest helps sooth him so I tryd layin him on the couch on his belly it had the same effect can tummy time help with his colic? How do you react when your boyfriend doesn't respond to a gripe that you have?

My boyfriend uploaded a book onto amazon. It is a book that briefly talks about his life to give the readers an idea of who he is. He mentions his friends, families and even enemies. There is no mention or reference to me in the book at all. Not in the content, dedications or acknowledegements. I have been by his side when no one was there so that really shocked me. Last night, I emailed him to compliment him about the book and I also said that I felt a certain type of way about not being referenced. Except I referred to myself as my alter ego. He graciously thanked me for the compliment but said nothing about what I said about me.
