Ps3 setup with HDMI cable on Plasma screen.?

i just switched TVs for PS3. The old one had those red, yellow and white plug in cords. The new TV is a plasma. The new TV doesn't have the red yellow and white plug in cables so i have to use a PS3. But when i use the HDMI, nothing appears on screen and it says no signal. how to i get it to work?
