Itunes ipod touch 4th gen restore unkown error 4?

I was restoring my Ipod when my brother took the usb cord. It stopped restoring and Itunes read unkown error 4. On my Ipod it has the apple logo and an empty download bar. it wouldnt connect to iTunes and could not shut down. HELP?!?
