Fixing an external hard drive?

I have an external hard drive with precious things on it. The only problem is that people don't watch their feet when it's plugged in. So the plug that connects a usb to what ever port I use such as an Xbox is not bent. It's on the EHD it's the connection the cord has to plug into.All cords are fine it's just the connection on/in the EHD. Is there a way to get that part fixed? I would appreciate places, names, address, and phone numbers! (For those who want to give me crap, Yes I know I have to watch the system closely and blah blah blah, Shut up)
