My 4 month baby have a lot of gas, he vomits and farts a lot?

Hi. I have a 4 month old baby that is having trouble with gases. I took him to the doctor twice but he keep sending me to give him gripe and Ovol for his gases. i get the point that he is full of gases even though the doctor thinks i dont take his gases out after each feeding but i do and not just one gas comes out. After he burps he vomits and now is all the time and his farts smell REALLY bad and i dont know what to do anymore since i am always changing his clothes and my clothes and i am scare to let someone hold him because he will vomit on them. i dont see this normal and maybe someone out there could help me with some experience. i told the dr if it could be that he is tolerante to lactose but he said that i am breastfeeding and it doesnt cause babies to be tolerant to lactose. i am so confused and worry about my son because i feel that he is in pain. also i fart too and the smell is same as the baby. so maybe is somenthing i have or somenthingi am eating?. i stop drinking milk for a while thinking that it will help but no and the only think that its left to change is the bread i eat. help!
