How do you react when your boyfriend doesn't respond to a gripe that you have?

My boyfriend uploaded a book onto amazon. It is a book that briefly talks about his life to give the readers an idea of who he is. He mentions his friends, families and even enemies. There is no mention or reference to me in the book at all. Not in the content, dedications or acknowledegements. I have been by his side when no one was there so that really shocked me. Last night, I emailed him to compliment him about the book and I also said that I felt a certain type of way about not being referenced. Except I referred to myself as my alter ego. He graciously thanked me for the compliment but said nothing about what I said about me.
