The charger port on my vaio pcg-7L1L wont charge?

i think it might be the little prongs that are inside of the hole but im not too smart with fixing computers. i tripped over the cord the other day and i think maybe the inside of the hole might have been a little messed up. does anyone know what it could be and how to handle it?
